Okay so me and my pal recently were talking about how great it would be to actually trade, especially in taken king now. I know that Bungie has their reasons, but it would seriously be awesome
Bump if agree

can we actually make Bungie notice us?
Edit 1: Okay in game trading for anyone who was confused
Edit 2: If you really hate my ideas, list some of your own!

No trading. I hope most people understand why this wouldn't work in destiny in its current state.
-
Trade? No. Pass loot to other raid peeps in group? Hell yes
-
Trading would demolish the "artificial scarcity" scam and reduce your time playing the game. Bungie will not have that, because it's bad for their investor information paper. The longer we grind the higher the artificaly extended game time. Investors think they invest in a company with good games, but in reality it just frustrates players and will destroy Bungies name and the player base. Marketing people and banksters are the bane of modern society. They try to milk and trick us all the time.

Hey, not to rain on your parade bud, but trading will never be an option in Destiny. There was an article (I forget where I saw it but I know it was reliable) that informed that Blizzard kind of be working with Bungie go make Destiny 2. Blizzard had strictly told Bungie to never implement trading. I don't know what their reasons were, but it's what I saw. Blizzard isn't helping create the game. They're just helping by giving Bungie tips, ideas, etc. Bungie will also be working with the devs that made some of the Transformer's game. Full Moon Studios I think? I can't quie remember.

No, it would ruin the game. "GALLAHORNNN FOR SALE, 1700 SILVER"
-
Edited by Maxim: 12/4/2015 8:05:18 AMI want to trade-in destiny. As in trade this bullshit game for a better one. Too bad it's not worth jack shit.
-
I already did after i accidentally purchased the digital copy on the market place, labeled Destiny The Taken King... my thinking it was just the taken king expansion...
-
I thought you meant like trade-in the game at GameStop. I believe they've stopped taking copies. In-game trading would be nice.
-
Why. Everyone already has all the same stuff anyway. Everyone looks very similar just different shades
-
No, because PayPal exists. Only way it should be implemented is a controlled market by the developers. As soon as you give players any control over it, it will devolve to pay-to-win. Only difference is you will be paying someone else besides Bungie/Activision. It already exists. Look up gunsofdestiny and ToO carrying services.

An in game trading system would allow for the sale of items for real world money, much like Diablo. So it would turn the game into pay to win.

Testing 123

The only trading I want to do that involves destiny is trading the game in
-
I can't wait until Final Fantasy comes out.
-
At least for legendaries
-
-
Won't happen because all the try hards don't want you to have anything you didn't "earn" lol dipshits
-
Not worth, $2.20 at gamestop
-
When I read the title, I thought you meant literally 'trading in' Destiny for another game. Carry on
-
Though I see nothing wrong with it I would not recommend it. Whatever you heard about his weapons they are garbage. Well, you already know your weapons are garbage so why do that to him. Anything worth wanting or having has already been nerfed.. Sorry that's just the truth. If however, you just want different skinned weapons then you guys will be happy bc whatever you trade will be the same. GL

I use my Destiny disk as a drink coaster while I play BO3.
-
But what can we trade? There's no much to trade.
-
So many posts with one word answers. How about explaining why you think that?
-
I like the idea of trading but it will never happen. Bungie will likely continue exploring innovative ways to creep in more micro-transactions. For cosmetic stuff, I'm completely fine with as I wouldn't waste a penny on them. However, if micro-transactions begin impacting gameplay such as weapons and armor, more players will be completely be done with this game in my opinion.
