Point was valid, sniping, other than close range no scoping(using sniper as a shotgun), is very easy, even a kid can do it. One aspect of sniping takes skill and those guys can be really damn good. But camping with gun aimed at a door, 97% of destiny sniping, is easy. Both can take skill to be great and both have no talent ass clowns using them. I use both, depending on map and run up against two categories. There are shotty scrubs and there are some very skillful shotgunners. Same goes for snipers. Salt is greater on the sniper side, so it has become more popular to hate on shottys. Funny thing is, in the game shotguns are doing about what they really do. Snipers are doing things you would not use them to do. Yet, the bitching is louder from the sniper side, so shottys take a hit again. I see a lot of shotgunners switching to snipers, and pretty soon crucible will be very slow. Sit back and wait for a mistake. They both need to be good to be balanced.
