I've been defending you, bud. I understand your excitement. Some of us have been there. Some have not and may have hatred or jealousy towards military. Just a simple word of advice to you, make it through training, understand what you have done and what you are doing for this country, and don't make any post that can even BE CONSIDERED a self serving post. Meaning you are looking for people to say thank you and kiss your ass. You'll learn all about the honor of being in and the reality will kick in. It sucks, that there are people like that out there, but there are and we have to learn to deal with it and hold bearing. Good luck, bud.

Leave the guy alone. The few that have actually gone know your really excited at first, I know I was. Now 8 years later the excitement is gone but the guys I'm with keep me around.

kids need to be coddled. given trophies for participation. and god forbid you hurt their feelings. He will learn soon enough he made an immature look at me post soon enough. When bullets are whizzing past his head in some desert mountains on the other side of the world he will grow up soon enough.

I didnt want a post to have people kissing my ass and what not, i just wanted to say goodbye to the community. The thread exploded and people are going to say things. No skin off my nose but it happens. But if someone wants to say thank you or wants to say something mean then go ahead. I have no right to stop it

I respond with facts and talk to the respectful people here. I know how toxic forums can be but if you can tell most of the people in this thread are genuine nice people. My initial post that you responded to said i cant stop people from being mean and also im not trying to get them to be nice. They're doing it off of their good nature. This is the community and its full of supporters. As for believing me, thats all you but i have no reason to lie about it so its your interpretation.
