Leaving for Marines, hope to be back soon!
I love destiny and its been awesome to play since the beta, but sadly im leaving the game for some time. Im joining the marines and leaving for bootcamp this Sunday. Its been great being able to play with the few of you i could and i hope i can be back to playing it soon!!!!
EDIT: thank you all so much for the responses, i didnt think this would blow up like this. The support from all of you in the community is amazing and i really appreciate all the tips and tricks im getting for success. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH
EDIT: To everyone saying its for attention, my primary goal of posting this is the fact ive been playing for a long time, ive grown to love this game and the people i play with. It may not have been you or anyone you know but for the few that do then hey i had a great time playing with you and cant wait to play again. Im not an attention whore or whatever i just love the game and the community. But rather then be another "I'm leaving destiny" post like you see every other day, id put my reason for leaving.

5 RepliesI've been defending you, bud. I understand your excitement. Some of us have been there. Some have not and may have hatred or jealousy towards military. Just a simple word of advice to you, make it through training, understand what you have done and what you are doing for this country, and don't make any post that can even BE CONSIDERED a self serving post. Meaning you are looking for people to say thank you and kiss your ass. You'll learn all about the honor of being in and the reality will kick in. It sucks, that there are people like that out there, but there are and we have to learn to deal with it and hold bearing. Good luck, bud.

Go to SOI, depending on your MOS you might do the MCT part of it that's about a month if I remember correctly. Then you'll be at your follow on school where you can waste your money on a TV Internet and PS4. Or be smart and save it and just go do things with friends I.E. go out in town get a hotel get retarded drunk. Good luck devil pup keep your head up. Boots 99% a mental mind -blam!- aimed to break you and it will it breaks everyone. It's part of the rebuilding process. It's beyond terrible but it all makes sense in the end.
