  • Really? He cares because bungie makes money off of it. So they don't need to release real content they can just release stupid dance emote to make money. People who buy these emote Are tools falling into a trap

  • They're a company it's their goal to make money. Its what every company does and if someone wants to spend money on emotes it's their right to do so end of story. I highly doubt bungie isn't going to make anymore dlc bc they sold a bunch of emotes

  • But he didn't buy emotes. I did read the post. Yes op is kinda dumb. But the point he was trying to make was Valid, sliver shop was just a way for bungie to make extra money in case destiny dies out.

Why would a company give something away for free if they know people will buy it? I don't know of a single for-profit company that would turn down the chance at making more money. I'm not trying to defend it, I haven't purchased any emotes or silver, but when it comes down to it, it really is that person's money and they have a choice on how they want to spend it.

  • "The silver will be a way of supporting our dev team. It's optional and doesn't effect your game play in anyway" Seems reasonable and perfectly fine to me. Businesses sell things to make money and value is the opinion of the buyers. If I stand on a street corner advertising a bag of poop for sale and someone buys it I didn't scam anyone. They legitimately wanted a bag 'o poop. Nothing wrong with that.

  • yes but they're making emotes instead of content what do you not get about that? they know alot of people will buy it. how much do you want to bet their going to sell some christmas shit in the silver store to make more money. but they havent released information on a dlc and its almost December. the ttk is boring for most by now, and by this time last year the next dlc was being released
