You're literally paying real life money for your character to do a 2-10 second action. You cannot justify this. You can make excuses and I'll post your excuses for being a child using their parents credit card below. When you pay for emotes you are showing AAA companies that they can take stuff out of their game that better games give for FREE and sell it. I understand the type of audience who buys silver....and that audience is classified as the casual gamer. Not real gamers.
I love how I make a spelling mistake because I'm human and since you guys have no real valid arguments to make you choose 1 grammatical error. Only proves my point that you don't know how to spend money wisely.
Excuse #1: It's my money.
Excuse #2: I make (put exaggerated amount of money made per year here) and I can afford it.
Excuse #3: Don't worry about my money! (They know they're wrong and are trying SO HARD to justify something that just isn't justifiable).
Almost 50 replies and only 3 poor excuses have been made. Proving my point again....
I think you guys have tired yourself out. I just had to sit through the snot nosed kids coming in trying to justify purchases for EMOTES...I legit think I have cancer now. Thanks Density.
To the kids who think that I'm poor...I make well over 250k a year. Money aint nutin. Because I know you guys still can't come up with any good logical reasons as to why you pay for emotes other than you like Bungie screwing you over. Still waiting on that person but I'm starting to lose hope that there will be someone who can explain it logically.
SOMEONE FOUND A LOGICAL REASON TO GET AN EMOTE!
Because Microsoft paid for it by giving me codes worth $5-$10
You guys disagreeing with facts have produced more salt than every single salt factory in the galaxiez.
-
So you're saying someone cannot use their money the way they'd like to? Thats just dumb. If someone wants to spend their hard earned money on emotes, why should you care?
-
Wait are you arguing that children shouldn't buy the emotes or anyone shouldn't buy the emotes
-
You're an idiot.
-
You have no right to tell others how to live their lives
-
U say people exaggerated about what theu make but u claim to make 250k a year.....bahahahahahaha
-
"You guys disagreeing with facts has produced more salt then all the salt factories in the galaxzies" "Excuse #2 (put exaggerated amount of money you make)....."I make over 250k a year" 12 year old troll confirmed, go home everyone, eventually his parents will make him go to bed, so we'll be ok

Just an innocent thought but why do other people care about how I spend the money I earn? If I wanna blow a kiss to Alak-Hul then it's fine for me to spend $6.75 for 500 silver. If I wanna maliciously scheme for no reason then I'm cool with paying an absolute maximum of almost $26 for 2300 silver but why are other people so against me using my money? To buy things with? Like what money is actually used for? If it's just cosmetic then who cares but if it's pay to win then that's a huge mistake to make and I understand that argument. Just someone spell it out for me why buying emotes is a bad thing to do I'm having a hard time following your thought process
-
Really, it is not your problem. It is not your place to inform people what they should value or not.
-
How is someone choosing how they spend their money not a valid reason? Bro, you aren't in control of their money or finances. If they wanna buy some digital stuff, let them buy some digital stuff. If you like the game and want to support it that way, then do it. If you don't want to support the game or can't, then just don't buy the digital stuff. Its not complicated. Honestly what I got from this was: "You're wrong unless you think like me. If you think like me then you're right. So think like me because only what I say is good is actually good."
-
I don't get it. People can spend their money however they please. They earned it in some way. Who are you to judge
-
Honestly annoying people like you is a valid reason.
-
You literally just used a excuse in your post hypocrite
-

Edited by cig smoking tgirl: 11/26/2015 3:15:50 PMI bought the Carlton because I had the spare money lying around, and there was nothing else anywhere that interested me. Probably could've spent it on a book, because I have been looking for something to read for a while. Also OP hasn't eaten a snickers. Try one- you turn into a shithead who believes his opinion is worth more than anyone else's when you're hungry.

justifying spending money on anything a corporation offers is entirely subjective. I spend £2.50 every morning on a coffee made by a large company before I get into work. I don't "have" to because we have drinks facilities in my workplace which are free, but I choose to because I like it and that can also be considered a waste of money by others. The coffee company in question have gotten away with paying next to no corporation tax in the UK, they're considered by many to be money grabbing, opportunistic and and have questionable ethical policies, and yet no one stands up and accuses me of not being a "real" coffee drinker because I choose to give them £12.50 a week. There are far worse things going on in the world right now and some things are inevitable. Yes people buying emotes is going to impact others in the future and corporations will just find new ways to extract every last penny from their customers, but does it really matter in the grander scheme of things? no. You're alive, you're breathing and you have the freedom to choose what you do with and in your life. Many do not.
-
I do it because I like making gaming worse for you, specifically.
-
Here dude, have a Snickers. You turn into a salty bitch when you are hungry.
-
You make over 250k a year? Lol muted.

Just leave like no body gives a shit

Who the f. Uck cares

Why buy pizza? You could just make your own for less money! In fact, no snacks, maybe not even lunch, you could live without them. If you do then you're spending money illogically, because the facts show that you don't need that much food.

I don't know. That shrug emotes is timeless when people are struggling with the jumping puzzles.
