Total time commitment needed for fragments is at max a few hours. The plethora of guide options make it super SUPER easy. It's not like Black Spindle or even the exotic sword quest.
Even the most casual of casuals with any interest in raiding should absolutely be able to obtain the ToM. Not having it just means you didn't take the 2 minutes to locate a video on YouTube, or you haven't been able to successfully complete normal KF, or you just don't care. Either way if you can't even be bothered to get the most useful raid weapon then I don't see any reason why you should be allowed to complain. Don't show up to the ski resort and expect to go skiing with your friends if you're showing up with a pair or roller blades on, you're just saying fu huck it and expecting to have someone else carry you. Not saying you can contribute but not having ToM in the fireteam means your being extremely inefficient, suggesting that it's ok that you don't have it because someone else does is included in the definition of being carried. Just get the damn weapon already

Not really satirical. Sounds like you were making a point but didn't want all the butthurt comments. Nothing contradictory about it actually, unlike the year one dilemma around weapons like the wex or fatebringer or especially the Gjally the ToM is not at all RNG dependent.
