Bungie has a contract with Activision for 10 years. They said nothing about Destiny being on a 10 year plan.

I hope there is a game equally addictive as destiny after 10 years are up, I need a stress-reliever.

I'll probably be playing on and off. Play for a bit til something new drops, then back to something more enjoyable.

Depends on how it goes for me honestly. But if it continues on with further iterations like ttk I'll probably keep playing.

1 ReplyPeople seem to think it's going to be this for 10 years. I mean a lot can change in 9 years. Games get better, devs learn from there mistake. Staffs change and technology advances. I know for a fact this game will change. Wether it will be for the better or the worse, I don't know. Only time can tell

If it goes back to HoW system for armor and infusion for weapons yes

They have a ten year contract that was signed with Activision back in 2010. Pretty sure that's the date in the contract.

I'm planning on it unless something in life happens where I can't. I enjoy the crap out of this game more than I thought I would. I'm ready to see the direction they want to go with it. There is so much more lore to bring to life. My biggest thing is I wish they would keep the old raids relevant. No use to run a vault or Crota now and that sucks.

3 RepliesHonestly I can't say for certain. Compared to what's on the market this year, hell yeah!!! But ten years, we will likely have another generation of console, new technology and new genres of games. Not to mention what life brings. If they came out with a build your own superhero mmorpg FPS with a fully explore able, destructible environment, and enemies that ranged from zombies & vampires to Super villains & aliens. Then I'm out guys. Destiny is a lot of fun and I don't plan on quitting anytime soon but I'm not going to commit to anything that leaves me in the dark as often as Bungie does.

Probably won't be playing anything until the Destiny Beta ends. I'm pretty much checked out now. I'm totally bored. No motivation to run anything. It's not even fun anymore.

Destiny isnt going to be a 10 year game bungie signed an 10 year contract for activision. destiny 2 will be coming out in fall 2016. so expect destiny 6 to be a good game
