Why must someone take Oryx's place, and who is speaking/railing against us in the King's Fall raid Grimoire card?
Why are you leaving?
Etc., etc..
What happens if nobody takes Oryx's place?
And there seems to be more than one sword brought to the City even in the Grimoire. How are these swords made?

Sword Logic dictates that when a being is defeated, someone must take their place. We killed Oryx, therefore we were greater beings. Oryx held power and responsibilities, and now that power should be in our hands. Succumbing to the Darkness would be in the form of taking our rightful position that we ripped from Oryx's hands. We had the courage to venture into the Darkness, but the strength to return to the Light. This is an end state allegory for when the Osmium Heirs ventured to the Deep and chose it.

Oryx is the most powerful Hive, the center of the system of tithing, the First Navigator, the King of the Final Shape, the Taken King. He holds a very powerful position. There is a massive power vacuum left in his place. Toland (who speaks in that card) is kinda pissed that you created that. If no one takes his place, there's just a vacuum. The Hive are left without a King. All the tithe that went to Oryx now sits stale. The other swords are probably made from the cores/hearts of generic Cleavers. Ours is the only one made from the Willbreaker's dark heart.

Toland was pissed?.... What did he expect us to do?

Take Oryx's place

Seems a little vague... Hmmm

Is relationship with the Hive is...interesting. He hates that there's the massive power vacuum

What do you think about the theory about savathun orchestrating this whole kings fall in order to be more powerful then Oryx? Cunning to devise the plan to kill oryx...

I doubt it
