Ok, so Hive grow from Larvae into Thrall. Thrall that kill enough get promoted to Acolytes. Acolytes that prove themselves great leaders become Wizards, and those that prove themselves great warriors become Knights. But where do Ogres fit into all this?

But I mean... What are they experimenting with and on?

Ogres are bread to be on a most basic level, guard dogs from Thralls. Wizards experiment and torture them in the breeding chambers until all they understand is fear, hate and death.
