Just saying, but all those things you mentioned, about stretching the game out, you talk like you want the updates to make the game last.... less time. While the updates may feel tedious whilst playing it or thinking about it the way you are, I can't help but feel like without them the game would just lose its flare even faster. I think people are losing the ability to pause while writing statements to think about alternatives.
