Just saying, but all those things you mentioned, about stretching the game out, you talk like you want the updates to make the game last.... less time. While the updates may feel tedious whilst playing it or thinking about it the way you are, I can't help but feel like without them the game would just lose its flare even faster.
I think people are losing the ability to pause while writing statements to think about alternatives.

I've got an alternative for you then. Make legitimate and meaningful content, that doesn't have to be lengthened by such underhanded and lazy tactics. Why is that so hard for a developer of this caliber to do? *hovers*
bleep-bloop
Edited by NEONateZERO: 11/7/2015 2:21:12 AMIt baffles me too but even still, I feel like they're just trying to salvage what the game was when it came out, I feel like if Destiny is to be what people want it to be, it'd have to be completely redone. What would you suggest as "legitimate and meaningful" content, anyway?

Edited by N8sNotSoGr8: 11/7/2015 2:25:37 AMHow bout just starting with a meaningful story? And I don't really have sympathy for these guys. They are absolutely swimming in our money right now, there is no excuse as to why these issues still plague the game. I'm not asking for a complete redo of the game. But these changes they're implementing, are not to make the game better. They're to keep the community playing through the winter...instead of using all of that new micro-transaction revenue, to give us something to actually sink our teeth into. *hovers*
bleep-bloop
Then they'd just end up making another paid DLC. The story is already set in place, what do you expect? No one's talking about sympathy, either. Sure it's easy to see it at that angle when you yourself are effected and are the customer, so am I, but since personally I don't feel like I care that much, I have to wonder what things are like on Bungie's end.

Oh, you actually believe you're getting a free DLC. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

It's not like they are pulling all nighters, stressed, sweating, "how do we make this game better? The fans deserve it!!" "Oh I know!! Nerf weapon parts drops!" The attitude they send off is "hahaha look at these losers. Alright how do we keep them playing without actually doing anything?"
