My crucible sniper is my Synthesis longbow. Why should I use anything different?

Mine never spawned with ammo so I was forced to not use it.

But I got killed by person use LDR sniper on trails. I just found out on player stats gears and weapons was over 315 but LDR 170 means 293 lights level won't face high level lights like over 300s in trials..

The low damage on the gun though still makes a difference. I tried using thorn and it was doing 53 to the head and I was still 290 light

Wait so if someone is lower light they get matched up against lower guardians?

Yep, but it rare chance that you will face few lower 304 light levels if there no other players on between 293 to 300..
