It doesnt mean you have to spend money, most games of this type have an alternative and lengthier route for acquiring the same things. Like warframe as a different example. So yeah. Pay to win.

Well if were talking ease of access, it is easier to get via money. But all it save is time, as is the case with most games of this style. But why even have it if most of the player base knows its a bad deal? To prey on new players? More likely its to speed things along for people without time. But its not like theres anything beyond the multiplayer. All you get by doing multiplayer is money for multiplayer. Ive kinda stopped caring actually. Never beat mass effect. Despite owning two of em.
