The $120 isn't micro-transactions, it's the cost of buying the game and all the DLC to date. Why on Earth should it be okay to spend $100 on a video game when there are many which cost less and are just as enjoyable?? Of course you can spend your money however you so please but that doesn't mean that this decision by Activision/Bungie is okay. They're just being greedy at this point. Some games are F2P and are supported by micro-transaction, like Warframe. Okay, fair deal, the game is free so you instead do micro-transactions. Some games sell you the base game and then paid expansions, like Witcher 3 or Mass Effect. Alright, good deal. Bungie is trying to combine both and we're not even supposed to bat an eye? Warframe is just as deep and complex a game with a far richer roster of characters and yet it doesn't try to pull this stunt.
