I have been through a lot of mics. I've done the mixamp thing with hd558's, PlayStation golds, hyperions, Astros etc. My favorite headset so far are the skullcandy plyr1. It's made by astro, wireless, lightweight and lets your ears breathe. You get a switch on the side if the headset to swap game/voice auido and its 7.1 surround.
