I'm on Xbox One and currently looking into a wireless gaming headset for around $200. I am starting to play crucible more and more and feel that a decent headset would help me notice enemies sooner.
I'm wondering what the more seasoned players use (besides Astro's, $200 is my limit).
Edit: Figured I would summarize what I am seeing the most.
AstroA40 (some sets can be bought for under $200)
Turtle Beach XO Seven
TB XO Four
Stock headset
HyperX Cloud II
TB XO One
Based on all of the feedback I am seeing, I think I will go with the XO Sevens to save some money and get the best of all aspects.

Xbox default mic. Lmao, filthy casual comments away! I have turtle beaches and some others, but the default is convenient and works just fine. Plus, my ears don't hurt or get sweaty after hours of use lol

Turtle Beach PX3's would prefer a set of Astro's but I love the ones I have currently

I use a (advertising alert) Samsung galaxy s6 edge headset which works just as good as a $200 headset. The samsung galaxy s6 edge is definitely a top notch competitor as far as specs & visuals & tech savvy attributes. A $700 phone so best believe the headset if anything is of good quality. Brought to you by Samsung. Blam! Apple.

Astro A40 plus Mix amp. For an average gamer like me they are more than adequate the sound is crisp both in game and chat wise. Very comfortable too, only con is if you are in a hot house like mine they start to get a little warm because of the cloth but other than that great headset for an average to intermediate gamer.

TB Stealth 800, pretty good and completely wireless. I was teeder todding between those and the Astros, but having chat be wireless as well pushed me over. I hat e having cords even to the controller. I have heard Astros have slightly better sound quality but these have ben pretty good for me.

Turtle Beach XP400s that I've had for a few years. They work great with the chat adapter. I've never had a problem with them and they still last a long time between charges.

Astro a50s

PDP afterglow karga for Xbox one. Do not recommend this thing. Fresh out the box it always has a feint buzzing sound

I use the Turtle Beach XO Seven Pros. I believe they were on sale for 125 at best buy a few months back, might still be. They're comfortable and sound just as good as my astro a50s. Also, according to my friends, the mic is much better.

Stealth 400 do not recommend. Plastic ear pieces broke less than a year of using them. The area was a high stress point when you went to put them around your ears. Repleacement piece is $75, and new ones cost $99. I hardly used them. Mai ly during raids and the few times a month i ran with my buddy. Fix: a broken popsicle as a splint and tons of tape til i can buy a different set work great.

Turtle Beach, I cannot recall model, but it's totally wireless, u plug a thumb drive type device into the Xbox and it syncs easily, manual controls on headset for in game noise and one for chat volume, rarely have to be recharged. These are great for the price, I paid 160 I think at GameStop.

I've been using the stealth 500x since February. I haven't had a single issue with it, sounds great, it's comfortable, and the battery life is good. I nabbed it for $199 at a Best Buy, after an Amazon price match.
