I'm on Xbox One and currently looking into a wireless gaming headset for around $200. I am starting to play crucible more and more and feel that a decent headset would help me notice enemies sooner.
I'm wondering what the more seasoned players use (besides Astro's, $200 is my limit).
Edit: Figured I would summarize what I am seeing the most.
AstroA40 (some sets can be bought for under $200)
Turtle Beach XO Seven
TB XO Four
Stock headset
HyperX Cloud II
TB XO One
Based on all of the feedback I am seeing, I think I will go with the XO Sevens to save some money and get the best of all aspects.

Hyper Cloud X....seriously one of the best sets out there and they cost only about $100. Well constructed....very sturdy and has reinforced wires. Also has surround sound for music and video.
-
Turtle beach x42. They are nice and around that price range but they are bulky and get uncomfortable after a while with all the weight on your ears. Not to mention they randomly cut out or reverse the sound effects (left comes out of right and right comes out of left). Batteries don't last long either. I need a new headset....

Notice enemies sooner the minimap tells you before they come though either way I got 3 different sets I use astro a50 / turtle beach 800 elites / and playstations silver wired headset since you can use the adapter to get virtual surround sound on any headset aka my skull candy crushers

Edited by BigBadBen 533: 11/4/2015 12:27:12 PMSteelseries siberia v3 are comfortable and have good sound. Only thing that I don't like about them is no inline volume control. Best Buy has the PC A40's on clearance for $99 (no mix amp). They sound much better, not quite as comfortable as the steelseries (I wear glasses and like the memory foam), and have inline volume. If you have a new controller with the 3.5 jack, you don't really need the mix amp after some fine tuning.

Edited by erikred84: 11/4/2015 4:02:20 PMAstro a40's they are great and well worth the money. But they won't help you in pvp for that money buy the elite controller that will help you more in pvp

A50's Especially if you're going to play for more than 3 or 4 hours. Super comfortable.
