I personally think weight is better than density. since weight is affected by gravity it isn't set

Density is effected by gravity. A white dwarf would tell you that

but it isn't directly affected by it. A white dwarf is dense because it is being squished by gravity. But weight is a direct measurement of how mass is effected by gravity
