Why does Cortana have a vendetta against Infinity? Is it because it used reversed engineered forerunner parts? And why didn't Roland join with Cortana. Is he pretending? So many unanswered and unresolved questions! Seems more like lazy writing then intentionally vague story telling.

Maybe because it's a symbol of war and destruction that abandoned her and Chief when they need help the most. That or she knows it's the single biggest threat to her uncontested rule.
Maybe because it's a symbol of war and destruction that abandoned her and Chief when they need help the most.
I don't think so. I mean, it was vital in getting them inside the Didacts ship.
That or she knows it's the single biggest threat to her uncontested rule.
This seems a bit more likely but still doesn't make the most sense. It's just one ship, and isn't even that über powerful especially when put against machines such as Guardians.
