Errr, I'm pretty sure this is his point... These are things you have to earn in the game, that people can now spend real world cash on to get instantly. The fact that the consumables already exist in the game doesn't negate the fact that they can now be bought with money instead of working for them in-game, hence the unbalancing created by micro-transactions that people get pissed about.
Your argument would be like saying, in this hypothetical: "Well sure you can buy a Sleeper Simulant for silver, but it's literally the exact same gun I could get by completing the quest."

Lmao splitting hairs much people? Who cares if they reskinned glimmer and weapon telemetries, go do a couple strikes and you'll have dozens of glimmer boosts, I have hundreds of each that I never even use just like the majority of the ppl that play this game

Well there's splitting hairs, and then there's just an intrinsic fallacy in an argument. You can decide for yourself which is which, but when the debater asks the OP to "get his facts straight," I'd ask that he get his argument straight before calling someone else out.
