Bungie! I hope you read this.
ITS -blam!-ED UP YOU DON'T HAVE GUARANTEED DROPS AFTER EACH BOSS!
The first chest I can MAYBE understand. After the Deathsingers though? No. Just no. I got -blam!-ed 2 out of 4 drops so far!

Deathsingers on hard can only drop class items as a hard mode drop. You can get one to drop if normal was already completed, it's just a very low chance. Even if you didn't do normal mode, the Deathsingers would drop 1 normal mode drop and one hard mode, so you didn't lose any chances for drops, just bad rng.

This follows the same pattern of any other Raid thus far. If you complete the Normal, you won't get certain drops in Hard. Example: If you complete CE Normal, you won't get the Ir Yut drop in Hard. So this is no different.

I'm conceding the argument here because I realize I -blam!-ed up by doing normal because of the way they structure the drops on Destiny Less time I'll be on next week, that's for sure. Bungie shoots themselves in the foot so many times. I'm sure their intentions were not to make it more beneficial to spend less time on the game. (Completing one hard run vs a normal and a hard, because doing both makes half the hard a waste of time)

You don't mess anything up at all. My Raid team always does Normal first, so we can do the Raid twice per week. Generally speaking to get everything that you want, you sort of have to do the raid multiple times anyway, so missing one loot drop here and there isn't a huge thing.

In King's Fall it appears that you can get both your normal and hard drops in one run by doing hard mode first. This means that, like in Vault of Glass, running normal before hard has no point.

I've done normal and got a drop on every part on hard.

It has never worked that way for me. Get the Pit chest in Normal... No pit chest in Hard in CE. Get the exotic chest in normal, don't get it in Hard mode VOG.

No loot is a sure thing in any raid.

Deathsinger used to not be a guaranteed drop for Crota's End, but then they changed that because they felt that was -blam!-ed up.

You shouldn't go in to a raid and expect drops every boss you kill. On my 1st kf complete I got a ghost shell. That was it nothing else. While my cousin got something from every boss. It's just random mate.

And dude this is going to sound bad, but I'm a father and a biochemist and I have another kid on the way. If I take my free time (which is my own choice) to do something like this which is time consuming and there is absolutely no return on 50% of the drops it kinda pisses me off.

By the way, just saw the bit about nerfs. I am an auto rifle user. You know I feel the nerf pain. My Suros still isn't what it used to be but it's much closer than it was.

I'm not crying just pointing out that it's bullshit my time was wasted. There is real MMO RNG and then there is Destiny RNG. Two totally different things. Destiny RNG has gotten better but it's still -blam!-ed. If you want to keep sucking Bungie's cock, go ahead. This pisses me off. You don't like it? Hop off my comment.

I don't have a problem with it. It's you that has the problem :/ if you don't like it don't play it. At the end of the day it's a grindy game that's made to keep you playing. If you had everything given to you there would be no point playing as much.

In the end I am actually punished because I spent more time playing this if you think about it. I ran through normal earlier in the week which would've dropped something right? Probably shards. Fine. But now with that dropping nothing I now realize that running them separate actually degrades my gaming experience therefore I will sink less time into playing the game. This is the opposite of what Bungie's wants right? They want to keep me and other people playing the game. They just shot themselves in the foot like they have on countless other occasions.

No. I'm saying I will by just doing a hard run once a week now.

Then just run hard as of next reset. With you running about 1000 raids you should haven known what happens when you run normal then hard.
