I was on the raid team and was there when everything happened. As we beat the raid a flood of people started to come into the chat and started talking trash ( which is expected ) and as people started to come in he reacted. Honestly, he's not a bad guy.. Been there for the hundreds upon hundreds of raid carries he's done. I was actually a viewer in his stream that was looking for raid help and ended up being apart of his clan.
Honestly going from a stream of 20 people to about 2,000+ in a matter of minutes could do a lot of things to anyone. There were some congrats but also a ton of hate. Being attacked by all those people caused him to react. While running the raid with the low amount of viewers he had there was nothing but silly banter, jokes, and great communication, but no one will see that because of this drama which is the bad part.
It was a fun raid and I enjoyed the experience. Bungie did a great job in making adjustments to the raid at hectic moments that would catch anyone off guard. Good communication and call outs got us through it and I'm sure the ones who haven't beaten it yet can do the same.

If you can't handle the negative you can't put yourself in front of that many people
-
I'm fine with him talking trash about other streamers but saying he's the best player like really dude? What a joke. He's really not that good but he's an ok player. I just can't see where he was coming from when he said he was the best
-
Nah he didn't say that and if he did he didn't mean it.. He knows he's not the best he says it all the time nor did he talk trash about other streamers.. Just commenting to what people were saying to him in the chat but I'mnot really for going on about things for too long it was hours ago it's over now.. Let's just get back to enjoying destiny.
-
Well that's the best that can be expected. Sorry this is turning so ugly.

Edited by girflush: 10/23/2015 11:35:54 PMThat makes sense but it's not really a good excuse. If you're going to go for first you need to be prepared to handle the notoriety that comes with it.

Nice job on worlds first man. Don't watch twitch or streams but still nice job.
-
Congrats on being worlds first. It's a shame valley ruined any shot you guys had at getting positive press. It's a great accomplishment as far as video games go and he clouded it for all of you and the community whether he was overwhelmed or not.
-
Congrats on world first man. However, from the way I saw it, it seems like Goth and his guys were surprised, but then they congratulated you guys. Ram should have returned the favor. Hence why DeeJ threw him under the bus
-
Thanks and I'm just commenting on how things unfolded. Went from a proud moment to real ugly in a matter of minutes once the chat got flooded and he reacted. Not saying I condone his reaction just saying what happened, but I can't stress it enough that the raid was fun. No need to ruin a great day and fun activity over some drama. I know it's the hot topic right now but for those of you who haven't done the raid yet, go out there and try it. Although everything is clouded right now we all had fun and were overjoyed when we completed it.

Nice work man!
-
Oh yah Nike saw u on the team nice job on the kill bro
-
It DOES NOT allow him to tell goth to suck his dick when goth congratulated him
-
What did he do?
-
well done guys
-
Not everyone in the community thinks he was out of line. If I were in his shoes I'd have done the same. Congrats on the win, enjoy it.
-
Trashing another gamer who congratulates you is out of line
-
IMO You should never react to haters/troll on your stream by talking shit, it only makes said streamer look dumb lol
-
First off congrats. You all deserve that. And he responding to the trash talk with trash talk, I honestly would have probably done the same. But there was no point in him going on goths stream and trash talking him cause I highly doubt goth did any trash talking
-
Goth congratulated him
-
I know that's what I'm saying. So he had no right to tell goth to suck his dick
-
I was watching the goth stream...it was his reaction when he heard who was first "-blam!-ing who?"
-
You realize it's all recorded right? So literally any and everyone can go see how he was talking shit the INSTANT the raid was done, without being provoked at all. He actually banned me from his chat because I was telling him to man up and admit he was wrong, and to stop trying to make excuses to justify his actions which were founded on nothing but arrogance. Don't defend this behavior, it makes you look bad as well.

Edited by Bit sad, innit?: 10/23/2015 9:48:22 PMOh right. Cause two wrongs make right. Would've been cooler if he kept his cool and was the bigger man...but idc. Congrats on first, but not congrats on being dickish Edit: and I don't mean the whole raid team being dickish. You're trying to save your amigo's rep, cool on you man (:
-
We're not all above that response. If people berate me enough to the point where it pisses me off there's a good chance I'll react aggressively. It's human nature. Sure it'd be nice if he took the high road but I can't blame him for not.
