I combed the court last Friday for the same amount of time got 30 drops...... I got 33 or so weapon parts.... Not even enough to level up 1 weapon or Infuse and level up...... Esp with perks changing how weapons work an feel it's important to level up all weapons.... You could be dismantling a dream gun for your play style..... The weapon parts should be more abundant
I'm nearly on 2000 hours as well I don't need "hand outs" but I've payed my dues when it comes to the grind

I have almost 4000 hours. I know grind. If you open the bubbles, but don't fill them in, you will get 5 or 6 parts per weapon. Do that for a week and you will quit complaining. Put some real work in for a change.

No wonder you don't have an issue with parts 4 thousand hours......... Normal accounts don't have any where near that play time with 2 thousand being the average high hour accounts lol See it from other people's side..... I'm sure a lot of people would want to stick 4k hours in but there is a thing called real life

But, I ran out, completely out, during house of wolves. I couldn't do anything. I can understand being in that boat. Then I made a couple of changes. But I did exactly what I said to do and I now have an abundance. You don't have to level up every weapon. If you already have a good hand cannon, why level another one thinking it may be better? If it would obviously be better that is one thing. However, I think some people are leveling everything up. Try and be satisfied with some weapons for a few days and see what happens. That is an issue that nobody can fix except the player. If you will just give my suggestion a try, you will see that it works.

We have armsday giving us 5+ guns a week that all have unique perk rolls and characteristics. I want to explore possibilities, but I already have a full vault of ttk weapons I need parts for. I don't have that many hours to play strikes or CoO.

I research every weapon he offers, takes like 5 minutes. The ones that suck, I don't bother with. There is no reason to choose every weapon. If you do, that is your problem to deal with. You are making it that way on yourself.

Yeah, I use motes and dismantle bad ones or duplicates. Bungie just offers more good weapons than I can earn parts for in a week. I don't have as much time to play as I used to.

Edited by s13mark: 10/22/2015 3:31:46 PMI know your suggestion works I do uses motes on my weapons to get the higher part drops, I have lots of load outs esp with banner just gone a good pvp set up could cost a primary, secondary and a heavy... Which would also have to be infused with weapons (which you can't get the parts for) so a high level pvp set up could cost you in excess of 100weapon parts, then factor in getting raid drops, higher exotic drops ie a duplicate at 310 than the existing one you have at 290..... Meaning you have to level the new one even tho you maxed the old one...... Trials coming so weapons dropping a 280 again which means infusing an maxing again..... And hard mode weapons starting at 310 means you will have to max them once more...... Even with you strat...... Weapon parts will be a massive issue for the next 3 months Also I don't want last year again running with the same 3 weapons for long periods of time..... That's boring
