I don't mind time gated guns, after you've played real mmo like final fantasy 11 with timed monsters like lord onzozo which spawned once per 30 hours with kraken club drop rate of 7%... 6 years camping it to get 1 weapon...the grind is realerer

Why? It ensures that content is still available throughout the entirety of the dlc until the next one.
