I actually love what bungie is doing. I like this kind of unpredictable over RNG in predictable. At least you can still earn most exotics in an engaging way vs hoping for better drops.

Agreed. I played on PS4 for about 8 months, never dropped a Gally. I switched to XB One (for reasons..) and my first toon, on his first run on 28 PoE (where you are guaranteed AN exotic from the chest) drops Gally.... Removing some of the RNG from SOME of the Exotics is fine with me, I don;t have a Black Spindle yet, I also don; have NTE yet. I haven't managed to finish wither of those dailies with the correct conditions. But unlike year 1, I WILL get to try again when they are the daily heroics, I won;t be relying on RNGesus or a Crap Table..
