I had read that article too, now, IMO, had they let us know earlier things would be different for them. They remained, and still remain too quiet, to all who are on the forums. I for one, have not appreciated the arrogance that their representatives have displayed. I have not appreciated the silence to many of unanswered questions that have been very relevant.
It is unfortunate that they have allowed many to leave the game extremely unhappy, thereby not taking Blizzards statement “The only point you have to deliver on is that when people leave your game—because they will—when they leave your game, they need to be happy.’”
Had Bungie made an attempt to be honest with them, the majority would have left with less hostility.
Yes, I still have some hostility, but I do like the game (overall) but have played a lot less; the the less has been growing. I have, and still do, wish the game to be fun and playable. I play less because I have not purchased TTK, and still refuse to purchase because of the removal of the ability to play much of what I was able to from the initial release. I know many will try to condemn this statement, but the facts are they have done this and without any real explanation that is logically acceptable (believable.)
Yes, I would like to purchase it and continue, but their conduct (with no type of apology,) unacceptable silence and their elaborate (and IMO exaggerated) marketing to make something sound better than the reality is, along with a lot of what you have also said, still holds me back.
