In other words his reward is the chance of a reward for doing something else. Meaning the activity he cleared to get the reward rewarded him nothing.

10 3oC=/=10 exotic chances. I would rather get a reward for doing an activity instead of a carrot. I guess bungie's hopes that everyone will develop a gambler's mentality is starting to pay off. The reward of an antiquated rune is no different than getting 3oC. It requires you to do another activity, which was the reason for the rune's removal from the loot table.

But half the exotic armor isn't in available yet and a whole lot of us have the ones that are... so 3oc are pretty shitty reward.

Since last week's patch none of mine drop at 310. They ninja nerfed exotic drops.

Then again why bother with nightfall at all if you can get 3oC from xur already and use those on shorter strikes? That was the problem to begin with.

because any 3oC is good... buy from Xur or get as drops... both are good. and they didn't ninja nerf anything I had 2 Last words, Jade Rabbit, Helm of Saint 14 and a crest of alfa Lupi all drop as 310 after the patch.... soooooo RNG just hates peoples guts I guess.
