Well to be quite honest I had a thought of year ten where we've pushed the darkness far away and we have access to other galaxies (because it says Milky Way at the bottom that's why I thought that) and that we've visited the home worlds of each race
Cabal, Hive, Fallen, Vex (and any other race bungie plans to add) and the final year of destiny
we will have huge servers
Arsenals beyond believe
Gear of gods
But we still haven't beat the darkness
Year ten would involve a story in which guardians would witness a battle of attrition and basically the collapse 2.0 (but we wouldn't think that until it's obvious)
Each story mission (how many we would get for the final dlc) we'd watch as each planet is lost to us again
Slowly losing galaxies and witnessing darker twisted forms of our foes rise (not taken -_-)
Every character would have had so much backstory by year ten we would hear some very dark and secret stuff during missions and cutscenes
The final mission would involve us fighting at the walls of the city
The place where we died and we would be pushed to the inner city (we most likely will have AI by then so citizens may be killed) the darkness would be truly at our walls and we would fight to the bitter end (the final mission does a matchmaking for 16 guardians, the amount you can have in the tower)
We will fight through the city below trying to save what and who we can
In the end we would defeat the darkness but at a cost the traveler ( either A left us but we still have our light and evolve or B is destroyed and we have shards of the traveler with us)
Idk I'm blowing this way out of proportion but let's be honest a lot of things can happen in 10 years
