I now understand that Titan's need a slight decrease to damage reduction. Personally I'd say match it to the stormcaller.

It does match the stormcaller. Go use the melee super perk and see how long you last in fire. That's why everyone who calls for an armor reduction is a complete idiot. I stated what needs to be done and it's the correct way to fix the issue. Go dig it up on this thread or several other Nerf Titan threads.

No, it doesn't. Haven't had a StormCaller live through my 1000 Stare.
