It makes it more situational than the striker subclass with one shadowshot.

Yeah, because hunters cant get by on a single use super. Too used too seeing dwindling meters and not used to just snap casting a one shot super
-
But obviously, you're so intent on hunters being OP you can't understand what I'm saying is true.

Having one shadow shot isn't viable in crucible. It's a one kill shot, it would be different if it could kill multiple enemies. Hunters don't have a one shot super that can kill multiple enemies, not including combustion for golden gun, which will only kill a second guardian that's already weakened.
-
Yo. I main defender in crucible since day one. Guess what? My super dont kill shit. What was that about one shot tether not being viable in crucible? Hear that sound? Your point is as broken as your class
-
Your super has the ability to give people increased armor or attack, the bow doesn't. That allows for many kills haha. The super isn't broken, three shots for the bow makes sense for the super.
-
Which suppress other guardians. That word suppress. Its a mechanic. It stops other guardians from jumping, sprinting, throwing grenades, using their super, stops them mid super. Granted. As a defender I can do that too. But I don't also have the ability to hold them in place. Or make them explode when I kill them, and share damage to all targets that are tethered. You sure quiver is the ONLY viable option? Before you even counter with "suppression isn't instant" go cry to somebody that cares. It used to be instant untill it was nerfed. Go check the stats. Just shy of 70% of said nerf calls to suppression were made by hunter mains.

The range of the tether isn't very substantial in crucible for suppressing enemies, which is helped with either black hole or quiver. Quiver gives you the ability to get 3 kills which is much more useful than black hole, since most enemies don't conjure up close enough for the tether to be effective. Shadow shot isn't meant to be only a support class, as you can get kills with the actual super. It's primarily a support class, but in a game mode where the enemies are actually smart and can run from the tether, despite being slowed down, quiver actually gives you the chance to get the kill. I'm sorry for saying that quiver was the "only" viable option, I was just exaggerating it.
-
You also forgot the part where you deal double damage against tethered targets. Weapons of light doesn't even push that much
-
I have never done double damage.
-
Oh, and weapons and blessing of light in crucible really dont make that much difference. While we're on the subject of viability, armour of light all the way
