Best fix would be a ban for all players that used the glitch in PvP. No patch needed, easy to do, fair and just.
Bungie won't do it, though, because it would hurt their short term bottom line ($). There are so many using the glitch at the moment, and they dont want to lose players. Well, Bungie, you may lose more in the long run by allowing these cheaters to ruin honest players game experience.
tired argument....they ban ppl who cheat....not ppl who glitch......If you truly cared about banning glitch abusers where were you when Crota needed your help.....Why didn't you stand up for Crota when he couldn't stand up for himself......
get it....because someone pulled the ethernet....get it....because he couldn't stand up.....u don't get it....
Using an infinite super against a human player is not anything like using an exploit against an NPC. Bungie did ban players early in Destiny that used an infinite heavy ammo exploit in PvP.

Theres too many people to ban them and also finding who did the glitches would be quite hard

Very easy to do with a simple tool to scan stats for super kills. Yes, it would be a lot of players banned. They could make it a temp ban (restriction), giving them time to patch the glitch, and in the mean time, allowing for a playable IB, and Trials.
