Yes I know you can use your secondary and heavy but.. Try running around with a shotgun as a Titan, see how far that gets you. Plus every death sets you back 1%.
Call me a scrub I don't care, I play destiny for PvE not PvP
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ haters gonna hate.
edit: not really gonna boost, just said it for bait.
But seriously the last word is about as useful as full blown AIDS
Edit 2: Wow almost 700 comments! Thank you to all of those who are giving kind words of encouragement and positive feedback. Even you guys that tell me to "get good"!
Edit 3: I DID IT!!! FINALLY. I went into classic 6v6 played defensively, used the new arms day fusion rifle (it's a beast). And I cleared their whole team with my hammers twice!! Thank you to all of those encouraging people, without y'all this wouldn't have been possible.
Shouts out to: mikeyhaugzz for being awesome

Edited by Mr_Golder: 10/7/2015 8:21:54 PMIt's not impossible, just tough for average PvP players. I'm not great in the crucible but here are my tips on how I eventually achieved it.... 1. Don't stress it. Try and relax, if you're wound up and on a losing streak, just simply unequip TLW and you won't lose any more progress. Take a break start a new game and see if that's better. 2. Run away! If you're outgunned don't risk a death. 3. Learn to hip fire. TLW works amazingly from the hip, it took me a while to get it down, it's unnatural at first, but devastating when you get it right. 4. Streaks. Make the most of your supers and play conservatively to build up kill streaks, these will increase your progress by huge amounts. Other stuff, jump round corners, stay out of shotgun range, try and pick up heavy, fond a game mode you're good at and when you hear a hammer hitting an anvil.... Run like -Blam!- Like I say, I am average at best and I eventually got it done, persistence is the key.
