The Chaperone Bounty is (NOT) impossible
Yes I know you can use your secondary and heavy but.. Try running around with a shotgun as a Titan, see how far that gets you. Plus every death sets you back 1%.

Edit 2: Wow almost 700 comments! Thank you to all of those who are giving kind words of encouragement and positive feedback. Even you guys that tell me to "get good"!
Edit 3: I DID IT!!! FINALLY. I went into classic 6v6 played defensively, used the new arms day fusion rifle (it's a beast). And I cleared their whole team with my hammers twice!! Thank you to all of those encouraging people, without y'all this wouldn't have been possible.

I feel your pain. I was finally able to complete the last word part of the quest last week. I did it in mayhem clash of all places. I played very defensive. Sat back in the spawn so it wouldn't flip and sniped at distance. Waited for my super to charge and attacked the middle of the map. After super was up, I return to my defense. Did it in a few games. Even got a reign of terror medal one game.

1 ReplyI joke about boosting for it too but even considering boosting means it isn't worthwhile. I'll get it legit or not at all. My first match upon receiving that quest took me to 36%. Then I hover between 8% and 40%.. it's impossible for me. My games are inconsistent. I could be top player with 20-30 kills one match and last place the next with .7 kdr. Chaperone sounds like such an interesting weapon too..

It's tricky because the quest makes you want to play cautiously, but the TLW does not excel with that play style. TLW still melts guardians at close range, and I had trouble with this part of the quest until I started playing aggressively. You have to be smart about. Only get aggressive in 1v1 situations, don't rush 4 enemies (unless you plan on using your super) that won't work lol. But TLW still outguns almost everything in its optimal range, get in close, but stay just outside of shotgun range and you'll be golden. Regardless of how you finish it, I do wish you luck getting the quest done.

I felt your pain unequip at beginning of match the re equip when super is full then unequip right after and repeat took about six matches after i found this out

1 ReplySo many people say that a few missions, like the Heroic Lost to Light or the Chaperone Bounty are impossible, but then I beat them and realize that those people just aren't that good.
