Yes, you say you want people to shut up but making a forum post is still going to cause people to talk about it more. Let's give an example of something similar to this. Say a YouTube video Has a lot of controversy, such as the Jimmy kimmel issue. Now, he gets a lot of hate from the video, but those people that are telling him to shut up about the issue are making him want to continue because they are providing him with views and publicity. It's one of his most viewed video, and all of his follow up videos were made because people kept talking about it even if they're trying to shut him up. Applying that to this situation you can see that you are trying to shut up the complaints, but by making a post you are drawing more attention to the issue. Solution: don't make any posts, if you stop talking about it then it will die down and go away. But this post has hundreds of responses, all of which wouldn't have been made without this post. Now, am I still a fool?
