I've killed a titan using HoS with one sniper shot. I've almost killed another (possibly same) with four shots from my Fulcrum.
It's possible to kill them, but only if they have health regeneration perk and they haven't tossed any hammers yet.
If they are using the armor perk, forget it.
Also, I think the number of hammers tossed should be maxed at 4. That's the max a Hunter gets with golden gun using and exotic helmet perk.

You have to get close with the blade dancer to actually kill someone, and like person said you only get like 2-4 kills with BD anyways

I've never got 5 or 6 kills with bladedancer. No team is ever standing around together, doing nothing.

Completely different. Those hammers can leave fireballs, plus you throw those. Bladedancer has to go find enemies, get up close to kill.

You've never used the class. They aren't accurate like GG or with that range. You're not killing much of anything with 4 hammers considering it takes 2 to kill 65% of the time. (Either because you missed or they're in a super too)

Their range is pretty damn good, it just takes time to get there as to the accuracy... I have yet to see a Titan miss his hammer throw in crucible and same goes for me, I have yet to miss one of my hammer throw so...
