You can turn in Legendary Fusion Rifle looking items for 200 gunsmith rep. It is possible for someone to be rank 10 right now assuming they did enough grinding.

There's only 4 of them that drop. I've done every test weapon since 2.0. I'm only missing 1 weapon this week and the crucible quest that gives gunsmith rep. After those I'd be rank 4 3/4.
