Someone has got to rank 5 already, it unlocks the quest for the other exotic hand cannon. It was on Reddit. Also on Reddit, [b]someone else[/b] got the sleeper quest. They said you have to give the gunsmith 2 of those legendary fusion rifles from each planet, including the dreadnaught (10)
Edit nvmd about the second part they said it was a joke.

If you have done every test weapon, turned in the fusion rifles for rep, and completed the crucible quest chain that gives around 1200 rep you will be above 5.

Someone has hit 5 (b/c of the double reset when TTK dropped). But nobody has gotten the sleeper quest. A joke one was posted to the web today.

I also did the double reset, have all the dvalins, crucible quest, tested all weapons, and still don't have rank 5. Seems that the few that have it are hellbent on not telling anyone how they got the extra rep. It's driving me nuts..

Part of the crucible questline gives rep, and i think some of the crucible bounties that unlock after you do the quest give rep

The first week of TTk gave us two sets of gunsmith weapons... Some on Tuesday then on Wednesday on the gunsmith weekly reset
