How the -blam!- are people getting 297+ blues?
Seriously? I can't get anything above 295 to spawn. The highest purple I have gotten is 298
Edit: This includes CoO
Edit 2: I am at 291 light I usually get equips anywhere between 265 and 292 light equips. This included CoO (even in tier 3), decoding engrams, and Heroic Strikes. I do however appreciate that people are at least trying to help me out with this.
Edit 3: Went and ground CoO since I had a ton of runes. Got up to 294! Really do appreciate the advice people.

2 RepliesSure you are informed by now but its all about YOUR light. When you get any blue engrams, and decide to turn it in, make sure you have ALL your best gear on. It does not matter if you "like" the gear, does not matter if its white, green, blue or exotic...put on anything that maxes your light out. Turn in engram, ONE. AT. A. TIME. this makes it a process but by doing so you can check the current engrams you just decrypted...see if its higher light, if its ONE point higher, put that ish on and dycrypt Tue next. I got to 298 light before even stepping foot in the raid.
