Ok, hey, wondering if someone could help me out here. I acquired the Void Edge sword, it was pretty neat and all, so I started to fuse stuff to it to upgrade it. Then my friend tells me once all the bubbles are filled out, we get a quest to get it in exotic form. Does that mean my upgraded purple sword gets used to make the exotic? If so, did I waste all those upgrades I put into it? Or will the exotic be a separate weapon?
