Yeah, the hunter can shut down ANY super and isn't op,you just like complaining don't you?

Btw, just tested it. The hunter cannot shut down a bubble, even if he tethers the titan in his own bubble. This needs a buff.

Edited by Killlerschaf: 9/22/2015 1:23:39 AMI can kill a Bladedancer with a shotgun and a melee. I can kill a titan in his bubble with the correct timing. I can kill a gunslinger in his super, if I can flank him. Novabomb's and Fist of Panic's kill potential, are balanced by the fact that their usage is a one time thing, on one single geographical point. If there weren't 5 people at B, you won't get 5 kills with them. However, the Sunbreaker can pop his super, run across half of the map with his 60% damage reduction without dying, and wipe a whole fireteam. Not in melee range? Just use the pseudo golden gun. In melee range ? Just use the pseudo arcblade. The Sunbreaker has 2 form of counterplay: Waste your own super. Or run away. No other ability has this unbalance, because ranged supers either have no damage reduction (GG), or can only be used on one single point of the map (Novabomb). For someone who played as much crucible as you did, you sound pretty clueless to be honest.

in truth man it sounds like you're clueless to how to fight a sunbreaker. I've down one with simple fire along with simply outlasting one. Bow can stop one in their tracks, Golden Gun can snipe him out with his shots. Heck you can snipe him out/gun him down with team fire if he's in the middle of running/igniting. The hammers aren't rapid fire/non stop so you can pace it out and the biggest way to deny him is to jump and fly around. A smart skiled player can stop one no problem. I hate to say it but this is an honest truth: Git gud m8. Because the only ones who'll have problems with a sunbreaker are people aren't too good at crucible and don't understand the class. Fought a sunbreaker Titan to Titan. Fought one as a Nightstalker. They aren't that big of a problem if you're paying attention and known when to back up and bait em or shut em down.

Your stats seriously aren't on a level to tell me to get good. I am above your PvP level, and that pretty clearly. A Sunbreaker tanks a GG shot. He also tanks a rocket to the face. Just as much as he tanks a shotgun+melee and every headshot from every sniper out there without final round AND high impact. The hammer is very spammable, to the point where he had 7 hammers. That's 3 shots more than GG with an exotic helmet. And it's aoe. And it regenerates health. And it's braindead to aim. I am not talking about killing a Sunbreaker with a super however. The issue is that the only counterplay a Sunbreaker has, is running away, or praying that teamshooting melts him faster than he regains health from killing your team, from a distance arcblade couldn't even dream about. It's astounding how the most stacked super in the game, apparently isn't OP according to some titan mains in here, even though it has de facto no weakness. The nerf will come anyhow. So that will be the vindication for every rational thinking person. To not think that the current implementation of a bladedancer/voidwalker/GG/WoD hybrid isn't a problem, is ridiculous. Someone has no idea what the word balance means.

Actually play more then enough that the fact IM telling you to get good shows how lacking you are. If you can figure out a simple way to fight the class then you're clearly lacking. Running isn't a bad option, heck it's what you do usually. All because you clearly can't fight em doesn't mean others can't. You also haven't clearly been one of you don't understand its weakness & what actually can counter you. It's not even hoping concentrated fire kills him because it will. The throwing takes aiming because enemies move FYI and the homing isn't as good as you think. Same goes for the aoe. You have to be smart with it and you have o know what strength your set up has. So yeah I have plenty of room to talk because not do I play one I fight against em as well. You're clearly just angry you haven't figured out how to really fight em & handle em.

Edited by Killlerschaf: 9/23/2015 1:48:18 AMNeither am I angry, nor are you in any position to tell that I should get good. Your PvP skills, at least going by your score, aren't even close to my level. You assume too many things about some theoretical situations in which one might be able to kill the Titan. With 7 hammers, an aoe and homing, the hammer is literally braindead to throw. Add some health regen for ultimate trolling. You missed a hammer? Well, continue to laugh, spam your hammer as you have at least 60% damage reduction anyhow, and then proceed to heal off the next kill. Team shooting needs: A) A non-braindead team B) Open sightlines on the titan, but not open enough that he can just spam hammers C) A situation in which you aren't getting flanked and actually have the time to commit a huge amount of resources onto one single player, who has enormous kill potential. Running away might be a nice idea, but you know what running away means? No Teamshooting.... What you don't seem to realise, is that I personally don't really have an issue with the Sunbreaker myself most of the time. I can't kill him, so I run. His current state however, is detrimental to the game balance, because no super comes even close to the Sunbreaker's power currently. None of them. And all of the people who try to argue against that, sound exactly like the Thorn/TLW scrubs, who said that the weapons weren't OP. It probably doesn't help your cause either, that you are a Titan Main. Which makes everything you say inherently biased, because you are still salty that Y1 Titans didn't have the best super in the game. Don't worry though, the nerf will surely come.

It's not 60% dmg reduction.. #stilloverexageratingtogethiswaylookatthisliar

Edited by Halo Sky258: 9/23/2015 2:04:08 AMIf you're so good then why are you clearly having trouble seeing that the Sunbreaker doesn't need a nerf? I may hate PvP but I understand play style & my class with its abilities so I'm not saying this as a fan boy but as a fellow player that the class isn't as broken as you're making it. The homing isn't actually that good and by the time it kicks in the enemy could have his behind cover if not out right have dodged it. Bungie themselves have said the best way to deal with a Sunbreaker is to jump around and be mobile. Takes more then 1 Golden Gun? Well it's super vs super so really use it and save yourself and or team. The aoe is relatively close to the impact and isn't as big as you seem to think it is. Same for the Armour. You can down em from long-mid while unloading grenades & such for when they get close if they happen to be alive. Not including what your teammates are doing. Also a Sunbreaker usually charges forward to act as the spear head and should be priority just like a blade dancer. Even a "brain dead" teammate can figure that out. Also it's not like you can't hear that thing getting triggered. It had more then enough of a unique sound to it along with the fact the guy is clearly charging or throwing hammers. The class isn't as bad as you seem so desperate to make out to be to justify your complaint. If you're gonna call it out on being OP then call out all the other supers. Storm caller can chain lighting to an entire team just from one person, jump up above someone and essentially zap em & has blink. Nightstalker can shut down ALL supers and can have 3 shots. Oh and all those trapped people also take more damage & are slowed so that's also a thing. Oh did I mention how it can kick a Sunbreaker from hammer time? Stop a blade dancer from dancing? Stop a storm caller from going Sith? Or hey keep a golden gun from going blam blam blam on a dude insert one more blam if they have the one helm. Fist of Havok smashes a Sunbreaker, void bomb nukes em & a gunslinger can down em at a range while Ward of Dawn can give the team a chance to run by eating a hammer. Face it there are plenty of ways to deal with em. The fact someone as good at PvP as you can't see that is sad but I guess to each their own since this is the internet.

Edited by Killlerschaf: 9/23/2015 2:24:30 AMEverything has been said already. The Titan currently has the strongest super in the game, with the highest kill potential and the least possibilities of retaliation. You say yourself that you don't like the PvP, so you obviously lack the countless hours other people have put into it, to understand the full set of dynamics. If you still don't understand why a nerf will come, nothing anyone can say to you, will change that. Just like the Thorn, TLW and the Bladedancer weren't OP according to their abusers, they got a nerf nonetheless. The Sithlord has one issue: he needs to get much closer than the Titan. Until the Sithlord is in DPS range, the Titan already annihilated everything.
