Most sports games. Multiplayer servers go offline around a year or so after release. Forcing you to either buy the new version or go without playing multiplayer at all. Other games servers completely shut off period. Multiplayer games like Chromehounds (was I the only one that loved that game?) was completely shut down.
When you bought destiny, you purchased the right to play it. For as long as bungie and activist on decide. You don't own anything. Online only games have expansions all the time. Lock out content behind the new expansion to encourage users to buy it. Because they are a business. They sell us stuff and we buy it. You don't have to like it and you don't have to buy it.
I would say you should educate yourself more about what you are buying or read the conditions set out in the licence agreement before purchasing so you know what to expect. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, just to say do some research about what you're getting into and what's been done with online games in the past. What Destiny has done is absolutely nothing new. Good luck with your fight.

I understand all these points. But here's the thing. When was HoW released? They are far from their year of support. Also, TTK is merely expanding on Destiny 1, and will be forced to support that expansion for the next year. Unless of course for financial reasons they are unable to.
