  • You mean that game? Yeah, I have. Its a subscription to play the game to cash in on idiots. Theres a reason that model doesn't make a game a service. Because without it the game still functions. Remove the pay to play. Does the game play the same? Identical. Making you pay more to play a game isn't a service, it's a butt -blam!-ing you take because you're addicted to a game. If I sold lemonade by the cup, but charged you for entering my store, am I service? No, I'm just a dick at that point, who clearly over values his lemonade. Pay to play models are put in place with games that are built to be addictive. That doesn't make them services.

  • Sorry you're making silly points that don't matter. The game was designed as a shooter with mmo aspects, one aspect of mmos, is that old content shuffles off when new stuff is patched in. Bungie saw an opportunity to combine the retail price point of a console game, with the sustained income potential of an mmo, if you didn't see that when you bought your original destiny disc, you're not catching on quick enough, and should probably just find a new game.
