Not trying to offend anyone. But... how many people over 220 work at least 50 hours a week and have a family? Curious is all.

Agreed. I have one character at 240 and probably played 8 hours.

Edited by championkiller: 9/16/2015 10:12:32 PMI had over 4000 motes of light, over 2000 heavy packs, a ton of armor materials...I grabbed each new subclass, turned in all 16 bounties, and 20 public event packages, turned in almost all the materials(saved maybe 300 motes)...and voilà 240 on every character...not hard to do...

Agreed

Titan is 229, work as an evangelist, wife and 4-month old daughter, and Master's degree in military history.

Edited by Salty Sunbreaker: 9/16/2015 9:49:04 PMIm 257, work 40 hours a week in construction with a family Edit: wrote 267 instead of 257 :p

Thats good progress! Construction, I remember those days. A nail actually went into my eye after ricocheting off the opposite joist. Had it sticking out of my eye. I looked at my boss, plucked it out, asked to go to hospital because it hurt, a bit. He said it was coming outta my pay and I would have to drive myself and make up the time. Lol... eye healed, drove myself, made up my time. Those were the days. Today, say that to one of my employees, good way to get fired fast.
-
Yeah we hear the nail in the eye story a lot xD i should honestly wear my safetyglasses more.
-
Yea, but those things are hot, they make it hard to see, they just suck. Or, if you are roofing or looking down a lot, they either fall off all the time or collect sweat like a lake... or both... but, they wouldve saved me from spending a day like a blind man. Funny addition. After they patched my eye I had a friend drive me around and we went to.... the knife and sword store... shouldve seen the shop clerk when I unsheathed one... lol...
-
I would wear an eyepatch everywhere just because. xD i hate them because after wearing them for 30 minutes they are so smeared of sweat and dirt you cant see anything
-
Yea, exactly
-
55 hrs a week, masters program, two young kids and a wife. Titan is at 240.

1000 redbull codes I bet, got to be, something is making up for your lack of sleep! ;)
good luck getting your masters. Once I pay off my BA I may get mine, we will see...
Beat that. And to top it all off. I pay a 180$ phone bill so I can have 20gbs a month So i can use my hotspot to play Destiny. Get rekt scrubs
-
Hit light level 212, not too high. Only on one character, working fulltime and school full-time. :/
-
I'm at 240. I work 20 hours and go to school full time. And work out regularly and have a social life.
-
Youve made good progress!
-
Thanks man. I find destiny a lot more enjoyable when you don't rush through it. Just prioritize what you do when you are playing.
-
Not hard at all. 242 Light. Total time ~ 6 hours. Still was able to help all three kids (under 12yr) with their homework too. I play after they go to sleep--bedtime for the kids in my house is no later than 9pm
-
You get lucky with the RNG? I did stop playing the mission at 40 to play a bit of crucible. Keep hearing that stuff really starts dropping at 40.
-
No luck with RNG. Went up a few ranks with faction and vanguard. Packages had legendary gear.
-
Nice! I got an emblem, shader, and two guns from DO.
-
Don't have a family, but I have obligations to classes and my fraternity. Got stuff going on, never skip classes
-
No, thats a good way to not have a better future.
