I am finding it hard to understand why Australians are being overcharged for the DLC, $70 really?!!! There is clearly not as much content in it as the base game (which lacked a lot of content also). I don't see why dlc that is built on a already developed game engine and re-using assets (u can clearly see them in the trailer and vidoc) is $70. We Australians are not the only ones, in the UK it is £40 which is also ridiculous. I bet most of the team is also working on Destiny 2 by now, so u would have a much smaller team working on this dlc which means in total the development cost of this dlc is no where close to the price of a full game. I will also mention I still think it's insane that Xbox gamers are paying the same price for less content. Even the american price is over the top but of course some people think its worth it (the americans I speak to on xbox live) and are gonna buy it then in a month they will be complaining about how bad it is. Before anyone says "I can afford it so who cares" or "If u cant afford it then maybe u should re-evaluate your financial situation" it has nothing to do with if u can afford it or not it is about the fact that u are getting ripped off and accepting it. I just hope a lot of people will be voting with their wallet to get shit like this changed, I know I will be.

The $70AUD price tag for this expansion is definitively unjustified, particularly in regards to a digitally distributed product such as The Taken King. Even if you take into the account the current exchange rate (not the rate when the game was originally put into pre-order, which was significantly higher) it's still not even close to the price it should be retailing for. If I can pay the same price at my local games retailer for full content, newly released titles such as The Witcher 3 and Batman: Arkham Knight, there is clearly something very wrong with your pricing model in Australia. Bungie, i've played your games for over a decade, but I will not be extorted and punished with no reason other than where I live.
