I mean why not?
It is really not all that bad...
It obviously have medical purposes
It is practically impossible to overdose
Marijuana is not addictive
As dangerous as Heroin and LSD.... no...
The only gateway Marijuana would lead you to is the fridge...
If marijuana makes you dumb, you're dumb for thinking that
Tobacco and Alcohol is waaaaaay more toxic than marijuana
Tobacco lobbyist, Alcohol lobbyist, Pharmaceutical lobbyist are the ones fighting the legalization of marijuana to protect their own profits. Considering that we live in a country where the economy thrives from competition, yet these companies are pumping money into to the government to prevent competition to take place.
Remember that the only thing dangerous about marijuana is getting caught with it

$12.8 million it taxes, licenses, and fees in AUGUST alone. Not to mention this is only Colorado, not counting Washington and/or other states where it's medically regulated. From 2014-2015, it nearly doubled. I can damn near guarantee that within the next 10-20 years, it will ATLEAST be medically regulated in all 50 states. Some more will convert to recreational like Colorado and Washington has. Politics and money go together like an ugly rich man and a cheap prostitute. There's to much money to be made in this industry. Not to mention the medical benefits. The only downside is the lost of pharmaceutical money and a few other things. But it would surely balance out over time and is so much safer than 9/10 prescription drugs being offered at the moment. I could only imagine the average life span would increase as well, seeing that a lot of people take some form of medication that has much worse side effects. Remember the saying, "if only money grew on trees" ? Yeah, it literally does lmao. It WILL become the ultimate cash crop.
