So recently i heard some rather disturbing facts. 23% of people on these forums have beaten Crota's on hard.
This leaves a staggering 77% of people who i would not feel comfortable gaming with for end game content.
Not to mention those who haven't downed Skolas
I've been labeled an elitists before and probably will be labeled the same again but I'd rather winners had my back as opposed to well... Losers.
Therefore Laurea Prima will be my gold standard for this year.
Edit: Thanks for all the support. Laurea Prima will be the one downing Oryx first! See all you champions on the Dreadnaught!
Edit: I've had many the conversation about how people have dropped Skolas and they wonder if that qualifies. In my eyes yes. Skolas is the most recent test of skill and therefore a good measurement.
Edit: You don't have to wear the badge to be Fireteam material. Just have it.
Edit: According to all those out there who "just dont care" to fight the bosses. In your world Skolas breaks free. Crota destroys the Earth, or Atheon rips the timeline in half. Why even play then?
Edit: This is not directed at those just picking up the game, as pointed out in the post, I'm disappointed by Year Ones and the general lack of motivation.
Edit: I was asked for an image of the emblem. There it is in all it's glory.

I've done everything but public events and golden chests. I'm just too lazy to do it. I only need 12 more public events and six more golden chests and that is it
-
Wait how do more people not have it? When they added it all I had to do was gold chests and I finished that easily lol
-
That's cool. My clan was willing to take me through Skolas, but wanted to do a whole boot camp training session and all sorts of shit... I just decided no sticker was worth it if just finding a group was so much trouble. This game is about fun, as all games are, and I know those hours I spent hitting up everyone on my friends list and log sites were not fun. I've never stepped for in level 35. Realized I think I respect myself more for being able to pull away instead of going total geek on it, making myself miserable for hours just for a name sticker...
-
I thought everyone had it. Lol
-
For Kings Fall I will def only take ppl who've beaten VoG + Crota and who know how to use the relic and sword, as there will likely be a new relic in Kings Fall, and I don't want to sit around for half an hour teaching people to use the relic.
-
but i wanna use my favorite element of the shifter emblem, its good
-
I really wonder why people would call you an elitist. I mean, achievements in a game are so important. If you don't want to play with those you call 'losers' that's fine but why do you even want to post this.
-
Can't forget about the golden chests. That was end game.
-
Sorry not everyone plays this game with the same goals as you. You should maybe make goals in real life first before making a video game the center of your universe.
-
Shut up nerd lol

Edited by Grim: 9/13/2015 3:10:26 AMIve been playing since day one. Now i may not have as many hours as some people but i have m good share of time into this game and have dedicated alot to it. Now the only Moments of Triumph I dont have are 3 Golden Chest(why would i want those?) and the HoW ones. I was not a sucker enough to buy the HoW. I knew the Prison of Elders would be left behind and once i saw the new exotics i decided not to buy the DLC. Do you consider me unskilled for not buying a certain DLC? I've killed Atheon and Crota on Hard. Ive done everything in the game available to me. Am i to be rejected from a fireteam just because I dont want to waste my money?
-
I still have a hard time believing people haven't beat Crota on hard, we three man it quite frequently, even bad players should be able to do it...
-
I'm kinda sad since its public events that are holding me back cause I just don't bother with those
-
Are those stats for real? I thought it'd be more like 10% of people wouldn't have downed skolas and surely everyone has done crota on hard.
-
The emblem shows you've put in the time to do everything in the game. It (somewhat) separates casuals from the hardcore fanbase, and i'd rather play the most difficult content with experienced players than those who just joined in.
-
I finished before it even came out add me if your psn king_trizz18 i feel you i have no problem helping people threw but my first raid run will have to be with experienced guys or gals. Your not being a dick bro but after you have learned the raid get you a xmas neebie and train them through and now you have a equal member of the team for endgame
-
-
You have almost no room to talk. Just because we have done a few more things doesnt make us any better. I will raid with anyone who is not annoying and willing to grind it out. Hell busting on a guy who dies a lot is half the fun of raiding! Let it go man!!
-
The flaw in your calculations are all those that were "carried" through all those events. How do you separate them out?
-
I still haven't gotten my Year One stuff,or my Moments of Triumph emblem >_<
-
I think mixing it up gives the funniest endgame playthroughs, noobs and vets in one hell of a circusmix. Nothing like hearing a guardian go batshit cray cray over his alltime everlonging Vex or Fatebringer. I gets them goodfeels then
-
I'm not wasting my time looking for chests or waiting for a ship to fly out of the sky to do a worthless public event. The raids were never the problem.
-
I can't be the only one who isn't even going to use the damn emblem.
-
OP's overall PvE K/D.... Warlock-14.3 Titan-19.4 Hunter-15.3 And you're the one asking for requirements? Lol the majority is already better than you.
-
Edited by PizzaBoss: 9/12/2015 10:43:40 PMGrimoire below 3500. Git gud scrub. Emblem or not I will not play with because of your low grimore score
-
Thats kinda shity you should open your arms to some raid noobs that way they have a chance to play end game.
