I played blues for years, and am fully aware of the influence, but 100% is a bit much. How far down the music chain would you like to go? This doesn't change the fact that classic rock heavily influenced the music we hear today.

  • By saying classic rock is 100% based in blues really shows you just say what you hear and pass it on as fact, yeah jazz and blues influence the classic rock genre but not at all is it all that it is made up off. If that was the case Zeppelin would not have a reggae style song, a song with eastern oriental instruments and songs with synthetic sounds like in songs such as "no quarter, d'yer mak'er, going to California. Seriously if your going to comment on classic music have some genuine input not a child's say.
