Did you know that bungie knew the loot cave existed and were pretty sure people would exploit before the game even launched but didn't care? They would have left it there but removed it because people were reporting others for, if they used it, cheating or would go and stand in it to stop it from working and would get reported for being unfriendly. So they removed it didn't want people getting banned for it.
