The Fallen houses, after the failed Skolas stuff, will realize their power is diminishing. They regroup and assault the city again in a Twilight Gap sorta thing. This time, The City is less fortunate. Half of te city is destroyed and te speaker and council slain. The three factions see this as an opportunity to claim power, creating a war. Then the player will choose will faction to fight for.( after completing the story with 1, the player may go and play it again with a different faction). Dead Orbit decides this is a perfect time to unveil their master plan. They have been secretly restoring an old colony ship, which they plan to use to fly humanity out of the solar system, and into what lays there. New monarchy appoints you as there one true leader. And future war cult fights for a militarized city. Eventually all plans fail and the stranger comes to check up on you. The traveller does some shit, and it turns out she is the new speaker. So yeah...
